1st Day Linguistic Note

well, i'm not good in english, but i'm trying to be.

I'm so confuse on my 1st Linguistic class. it's how we learn about phonemes, about split word etc (i don't know exactly what i'm saying here) it's still brand new for me, and when the others can interact with the lecturers, smile, answered a question, joking, i'm just sit on my chair and wondering if i can completing this semester well..
like the lecturer said to me in the introduction, "so, mas Arry, you've got to work hard on JAVA with seamolec, and Work Hard for Linguistic" i think it's like a nightmare on the first time he said that. but i think this is worst.
i didn't get the lesson, i don't know what we're trying to learn.
The only thing that makes me happy is i can improve my english skill. we interact each other with english, no bahasa allowed in this class, even my hilarious friend talk to me in english.
there's funny moments for me when in the middle of the class, my friend gave me a paper and he wrote "i don't know, what we're trying to learn here" and i wrote back to him "so do i"  so i feel 'wow, it's not just me, the alien in this class, i have a company now'
i hope, i can finish this linguistic class well....
